The Firefly, probably Mustique's best kept secret on this privately owned and exclusive island is truly unique having been built in the early seventies as a private villa and recently transformed into one of the Caribbean's most exclusive hideaways.

The Firefly is perched on a hill with magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring tropical islands fading to the horizon. It affords the most wonderful sunset scenes from all rooms including the dining terrace and bar lounge area, which is complete with a Grand Piano and comfortable areas to enjoy a cocktail or meet old friends.

The Firefly has just five rooms, ensuring the exclusivity that our regular guests have come to expect. Each uniquely different room has its own bathroom, a queen or king size bed and beautiful ocean views.

In the "Hummingbird" room you don't even have to get out of your bed to enjoy a fantastic ocean view.

The "Tree House" room also has ocean views from the bed and a tub which protrudes from the bathroom high into the trees. This room has been described as a room with views instead of walls!

The "Seashell" room has a private ocean facing patio with a tropical plunge pool, dining table, hammock and it's own exclusive entrance to the garden and swimming pools. The room has air-conditioning and is tastefully furnished with a seashell theme.

The "Pineapple" room has air conditioning and the bathroom has a huge shower made entirely from sea pebbles. The King size bed in this room faces directly to the neighbouring island of Canouan. A large sitting area compliments this spacious and luxurious room.

The "Royal Palm" room is our largest room, with a King size bed, huge private bathroom, sitting area, outside balcony with small plunge pool. It is very private although only steps from the main swimming pool. The views from this room are directly to the Caribbean Sea

Each room has been individually designed as a "Caribbean Fantasy" and includes the extra touches you naturally expect....... Quality linen, unbleached cotton towels, hair dryer, bath robes, ceiling or wall fans, direct dial telephones and room service.

* Two sparkling fresh water swimming pools joined by a rock waterfall are the centerpiece of our tropical lush gardens.

* Sun decks, private patios, a barbecue and garden bar complete the scene.
* A full breakfast, enjoyed overlooking the bay is included with your room rate. Lunch, picnics and candle-lit dinners, (see below for recent menu) favoring fresh local produce are prepared by Kevin Snook, our internationally renowned Master Chef, undoubtedly one of the Caribbean's finest chefs. Our popular cocktail bar (The "hang out" for Island residents and visiting celebrities) is famous for its delicious Mustique Cocktails and the Mustique Martini Club.
